I can't help with "pics" but I'm in the process of moving about 50 tapes of CFNY to CD. Guess which one I came across today! the July 22/1990 Earl and Bev show where Visnja calls in for the first time. This is when Earl catches Visnja in a lie!

Well I guess the Corus "Pin Heads" versus other corporate "Pin Heads" that have messed with NY in the past, needed some extra cash to help finance that new Country music station (the one that replaced the Hamilton Energy Station). Go figure....

Sheesh I thought country was dying out! Perhaps that could be just wishful thinking on my part *grin* Hey the edge is bad but if you want to look at the bright side of things, at least the spirit didnt turn into a country station lol. Okay the edge sucks but its not nearly as bad as country *retch*!! You gotta admit that. I wonder where Visnja disappeared to. I remember that an old friend of mine went to the same church as her somewhere in Etobicoke. I could perhaps contact her again after so long and maybe she knows something?? A

Yeah I know, she was great. A friend of mine goes to the same church as her. I know that things didnt work out for her at the edge and I guess she sometimes is still on TWN however, I just have this feeling she'll be showing up somewhere eventually :o)A

Yeah, I hope so!!!! From what I gather she's been doing a lot of voice and t.v. auditions. She's on the Diet Vanilla Coke commerical with Simon from American Idol. I know that sexy voice!!!! The thing about Visnja I loved was that fact that she was "real". There was no act with her "on-air" or "in person". I've talked to her a few times at the Edge studios and she always had something to say --- a funny girl I must add!!!! Whatever she ends up doing, she'll do well. Let's hope we get to hear or see her soon.

She's doing those commercials? I had no idea, then again when do I have the time to watch any tv lol. I know what you mean about some of these personalities putting on an act. Some "seem" so nice on the air however if you speak to some of them either on the phone or in person, the act just so mysteriously disappears! I only met Visjna once, and that was back in 93 and I do remember how personable she was. My friend who goes to the same church as her is and never was an edge listener but she tells me that Visnja is one of the nicer ones there. My friend is pretty opinionated to put it mildly lol, if there is one little thing about someone that she doesnt approve of, you'll hear about it whether you want to or not :o) So if she never said one bad thing about Visnja, then Visnja must really be a nice person. lol, I hate to know what she says about me *shudder* lol. However, sometimes I deserve it, I have a tendency to bug her :o) A
