If your wondering why Visnja's mysterious departure from the Edge has caused such a strong reaction, listen to the female DJs on that station. Its obvious they haven't come close to replacing her.

Visnja had more talent in her pinkie finger, then all her replacements put together!!!!

I don't think Visnja was that great. She had a nice voice, and was a nice person, but not the brightest bulb on the tree. Then again, the female DJs on there now aren't very interesting or entertaining. The afternoon girl is a ditz.

I remember listening to Visnja late at night when I was a young teenager before bed. Was nice to have a pretty girl talking to me (over the radio) at night.

I agree Visjna, was stupid,nice but stupid, you could tell that she was one of those radio people that wanted to be famous, rather then the type that really just like music. I remember I saw her at a concert and she introduced the band and she was dressed like she was going dancing at the Roxbury. She did not fit in at all. One trick pony that girl, good at doing porn voice work and that's about it... At least Kim Hughes, Maie Pauts, and Mary Ellen had a vocabulary.

I spoke to Visnja many nights while working, It was a treat to talk to her @ 4 in the morning.

I also went down to meet her at the studio when she worked a saturday gig. She was just the same in person as she was on the air, honest and true.

P.S. She is a very good looking girl.

My 2cents for the above crap. It's a fan site of CFNY 102.1 Period... Any year, any staff member, any show is fair game (as long as it is positive, it is a fan site afterall.)

She wasn't that good....holy cow people, get a life! It's sad that one average DJ gets so much attention. This is more of a statement of how bad CFNY is today, if such mediocracy is held so high.

Sammi, you are right, she wasn't that good. I heard that she was pretty, and had a phone sex voice and was nice to guys that called her at 4 am. Those things do not combine to make up talent.

Visnja is now doing on-air promos for JACK FM Toronto. Her voice is as sexy as ever. Hopefully she will deejay once again and take over the afternoon drive from Rob Pepper. He sucks!
